Can Africa Rise From The Rubbles

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

The picture of Africa has remained the same throughout the years, both young and old on the mercy of either war or famine.  Which leads people to question the possibility of this despite the fact that Africa is a continent that is rich in diverse and natural resources.  While most of it’s countries are leaning towards the dependency from world wide organizations so, there are some of them that have since decided to take the lead to get Africa out of the rubbles of conflict and hunger.  An example for this is The Sudan, where a lot of people are currently engage in and organization called the SudanDivestment.org.

Through the SudanDivestment.org, the Sudanese are able to show their desires to mend their county.  And they are able to this by exposing the reality in which they experience everyday in the life, so that it can raise global awareness.  Their aim is to also oppose the government funded media that has worked for the benefit of the Khartoum regime, which tries to cover up the atrocities that the regime goads.

Their hopes in making the world aware of their day-to-day ordeal, is that the right action can be made by the different leaders that are concerned with Sudan’s and Africa’s welfare.   Bringing about peace, so that other African nations can also attain the peace and harmony that have long eluded them.  By then, they will be able to traverse the road for a sustainable development.

Hope For The Sudanese

Life in the Sudan is anything but easy, and the current Khartoum regime has been an active factor in making sure that it stays that way.   With countless waves of terror that it wages against the people, mostly seen in it’s stand for ethnic cleansing in Darfur.   A good thing that groups like the SudanDivestment.org is dedicated in making a difference with it’s local and global campaign.  The local campaign involves a steadfast information decimation on how local supporters and advocates can help and get involved in divestment.

The international international campaign is quite the challenge here.  Local supporters can do as much as to report what is happening in Sudan for the awareness of the International Scene, which comprises of nations and organizations that is actively giving billion dollar worth of aids to the war torn Sudan.  But it is really difficult for big organizations to take notice of little accounts, but with the help of SudanDivestment.org, it is going to that direction.  It will not take long that big organizations like New York Stock Exchange and the UNESCO to see the clearer picture of what is becoming of their effort and aids.  Misused by the people holding power to fuel violence, terror and panic to the millions of people who’s  only fault was to be born under another tribe.

Hope for a unified Sudan is little by little getting their way to the hearts of the Sudanese, most especially with the divestment that is going on.  Soon the world will also be able to follow the lead and will make the necessary actions to bring “easy” back into the lives of the Sudanese.

Life In The Sudan

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

Little is known about the what is going on in Africa, most especially in the remote areas or even countries.  A pity though, because these are where the action is, terrifying action that is.  One such example is the Sudan, of which a rape, murder and genocide is just an ordinary day for them.  This is due to the blood thirsty radical regime under the Khartoum and it’s war against other African tribes.  This is also the reason why the Sudan Divestment Task Force needs to step in with hopes of stopping this perfect example of state terrorism.

What is happening here is that a lot of pro-bono groups from around the world have been unknowingly fueling this killing spree with the very aids and funds they thought would relieve the very people that were corrupted by this holocaust.   The different radical groups that are government supported, instigate raids on relief centers, stealing medicines and food supplies.  This is on top of the government’s corruption of the billion dollar funds from big humanitarian groups, such as the UNESCO, Red Cross and the New York Stock Exchange.  This is the very thing that the Sudan Divestment Task Force would like the whole of the world  to know so that this state fueled madness can finally be laid to rest and that peace and sovereignty will reign on the lush and abundant country that is the Sudan.
