| Campaign Description: | State Representative Fred Kessler (D-Milwaukee) has introduced AB 124 and State Senator Sheila Harsdorf (R-River Falls) has introduced SB 57. Both bills are based on the Sudan Divestment Task Force model of targeted divestment.
Assembly Bill 124 has been referred to the Assembly Committee on Financial Institutions. Senate Bill 57 has been referred to the Senate Committee on Veterans and Military Affairs, Biotechnology and Financial Institutions.
Additionally, Senate Resolution 28 has been passed by the Senate. This nonbinding resolution urges WISA to divest its funds from companies operating in Sudan.
